I am enamored with Superman and everything he stands for. He is the uber-immigrant, something people often forget. He is not human but merely looks human. Kal-El the Kryptonian-American represents the best in our human society, hence the tagline, “Truth, justice, and the American way.” As an immigrant to North America I find myself relating to Superman in many ways and that was the drive and concept behind this work of art.
